    Medal bar with Kanal clasp

A full size medal bar from my Turkish war medal collections, features a minty MVO with lovely patina, and a Kanal campaign clasp on TWM ribbon, not so easy to find.

    Have fun

Yepp! but I can't figuer out why.
There are a lot of photos showing bavarian solders put their MVOs at the first place and EK at the end, some times with campaign medal in the middle, but for TWM I don't know honestly

Here is a ribbon bar with TWM come in 'second' place, might be a similar arrangement?

... another theory, it could be another Frackspange as well, arranged by award date seniority?

I think it is an anti-Prussian statement. You see that on Bavarian and Saxon bars. Foreign awards go to the end and Prussia was considered by them to be a foreign state.

not anti prussian - these were the regulations till 1934. (bavaria and saxony)

Sure for that state's award. But putting the Prussian award behind a truly foreign award?

The ribbons on that bar are odd as well: left over right (MVO3) - single strip (Turkish)- then right over left (EK2)... Very "symmetrical". The fact that the "Kanal" clasp fully wraps around the ribbon could explain the "single" ribbon rather than the trapeze version, though.

But to have the Prussian after the Turkish one is odd to say the least - even for a Bavarian

                          Nice job isn't it?
That's how I like this bar and actually I think it's looking better than the regular trapezoid construction
...that's perhaps what the owner and jeweler intended to make
