      Very nice Johnny.

There is no maker IVI. It is M, and it's B.H. Mayer.

      Congratulations
      Best regards,

        Hi Trevor,

I tend to disagree. If someone (let it be BH Mayer) makes an M stamp they would care about connecting the stems.

Or do you have some evidence I am not aware of (it cannot be the packet , is it the frame?)?

        Best regards,
        Michel

          Hi Michel,

It is the frame, the core, the pins, and the Packet I really should put it all in a thread, but there is no question to me this is a B.H. Mayer. You can also look in this thread, where there was another discussion (although I still did not put all the evidence in the thread, I sort of explained it a little -- I just need to find the time).
          Best regards,
          Streptile

You can also check out this post in the Wehrmacht section, which shows the progression from this cross right through to the B.H. Mayer L/18 or 26 marked Third Reich EKs

Yes, I need to do a dedicated thread. But most of the evidence is up in different places around the forum already.
            Best regards,
            Streptile

A very nice collection of EK2's you have gained in the last month, the old ribbon/pin on the 'KAG' are just awesome in my book

                    Thanks for the comments.
I would be interested in, which is a rare piece? maybe We 800?
I am a little unsure that it is really a KAG. see pic
                    have a nice day

I had my own "theory" also about IVI for a while but when I said it aloud here, it was so simply and totally shot down by just one good picture that I was instantly converted to "M -clan". It is M. It's just systematically too big stamp for the ring, so in most of them top line of ^^ is missing.

That is a "KAG" stamp though not the clearest but still an honest mark
