Imperial Meybauer EKI for viewing...

I just received this issue EKI by Meybauer. Heavily vaulted cross with nice paint. I love this particular core. It keeps showing up in a number of my EKI's and EKII's.

Ben Bijker found this one for me, Greg. It's really got glossy paint and a full maker's mark. A nice addition to my collection.

IMO also a bit rarer as it has the slanted W core instead of the more frequent encountered "Godet" core. Nice one.

You're absolutely right. I have found this core in unmarked EKI's and in some of my EKII's. I'm getting to recognize it quickly.

I'm not sure if you're understanding "issue EKI" the same way I do, but in case you do, I have to disagree: vaultet crosses were (at least in my opinion...) never awarded but always private purchased ones.
