    Is this ok?

    Hi, I wouldn't be too happy about this one. 800 stamped but magnetic and apparently plated if you look at the peeling on the back. Not for me I'm afraid.

      Glenn, only the frame is silver. The core is iron, hence it reacts to magnets. That is not the problem. Whether the frame is really silver or not is hard to tell from the pics.

          Well,I wouldn't say that it's aged.This iron cross isn't WW1 period made.It's from the thirties.If you have a look at several online dealer websites you will find a lot of these pieces...So I woul say it could be ok but it's not from 14/18.

              Save your money on dodgey eBay buys and get a *real* one from the estand here. Somebody will hook ya up.

                    I wouldn't touch it!

                    No matter what the price. This style of screwback is the most heavily reproduced out there. The color on the core looks like it was applied by my nephew last week. I assure you, this is not even a '30's piece!
