Another thing to consider--would a girl or woman want to wear this? It's really ugly! I can see the soldier picking it out and the girlfriend or wife smilingly taking it and later dumping it into the bottom of the dresser drawer!

Here's the matching brooch to go with the bracelet. I had to use a cocade to give you an idea of size (didn't have a nickel with me). This one came home to the states after World War I. No doubt it is 80 years old!
