    Hi,
could someone help me with this badge? Is it from a specific association? and what does DBK means?

    Thank you
    Best Regards

It's BDK. Bund Deutscher Krieger. The cross is from the 20s. But, I believe the bund originated in the 1870s.

      Hi,

      Bund deutscher Kriegsopfer

      I think, early post WWII

Since the badge matches, it's obviously Bund Deutscher Kriegsopfer.

However, there was also a Bund Deutscher Krieger (no 'opfer') as well as a Deutscher Krieger Bund before, during and after WWI. So, I believe there's probably some sort of link, through the initials.

          Hi,

there are different names and different abbbreviations.

But it is always combined with Kriegsopfer, Kriegsbeschädigter or later Körperbehinderter.

Abbreviation BDK or BDKK (the same badge as BDK, but with a second K instead of the lower oak leaves).
