Hi Guys,

Few day ago I was lucky to get two nice items - cigarettes box with Ekii on it and framed picture. Both items looks to me to be period. Ekii is very nice and magnetic ( almost like original ).

Ciao Plaut,
the cross is not an EKII, but looks like to EKI with ring added, or an unfinished EKII.
The little ring solded on the frame is not present because the "thikness or diameter" probably was more higher than the thikness of carton box.
I think, IMHO, the cross was made during third reich era, nickel silver frame, but others guys much more expert than me give you a sure answer.
But original cross surely, no dubt.
The framed photo is a nice picture, who are they ? "Machinengewer soldat" genau..... but wich Land is above the Pichelhaube ?

I know that it is not ekii but purpose was to look like ekii.

Yes that is crew of machine gun - I will look when I get back home. On the back is inscription I think - " Bettner Walter im kanton...."

Nice Items, EK on the box looks like an casted AWS copy. Have seen such boxes quite often, all items shown are nice and I do not have any doubts on them
