      Hi guys...

If you're going to be at the SOS please stop by to say hi and check out a photo book of interesting EKs. Trevor can vouch for the book. More new images since he saw it two years ago.

Love to talk EKs. I'll be set up at table U-24.

      Hope to see you there.

      Tony

CD 800s seem to bring a little extra money, but I do not consider them rare. There are some EK2s that could be considered harder to find than most. Among them I would include:

Common maker marks with an additional silver mark that is not always seen. I have a cross marked KAG 800.

The square punch marked crosses. I have seen single and double marks on these.

Any silver mark higher than 800. I have one marked 925 that you rarely see.

TR era crosses with particular LDO marks. L/11 is the most common, but others are rarer. I have an L/57 marked 1914 EK2 that you can't find that easily.

JWS marked EK2s are hard to find.

as everyone taking it so serious I would like to add that there are exceptions around the cd marked crosses .

and there are some advantages ,,

fore one,,, the core seem to be found at only this maker.
and the frame stays always the same .

but here the exception I found .
no silver and marked with the infamous square mark .

I think hard to get , excuse me if I am wrong
                .
                regards

It is a KO frame, so I doubt that only the ring is exchanged.
