Thank you streptile. Guess this was a waste of time got out bid by one measly dollar right at the last minute of the auction.....

Thank you Kraal. The first cross posted I didn't get as stated was beat out by 1 buck last minute of the auction. The second cross I got it for $55.00 buy it now option but happy with the price and the seller was from Germany

A nice cross, I like the condition too, it has a caracter of almost 100 years old cross. The price is not too much either, these crosses usually go for around 40-45 euros. Kraal, if you have some for 28€, I'll gladly buy it.

Harold ...Good score ,though as Andy pionted out a little bit of surface rust ,but then what do you expect for something 90yrs old. Ribbon looks good from pics but would still check against reference thread
Price seems fair for current market rate (have seen KOs go for more)
All the best with your future EK hunting

Watch ebay germany. Yesterday there was an auction for an AWS Ek (not named as such). Went for 23€ and was in fine condition. You won't find cheap diamonds when you don't do your daily homework

You're absolutely right. I missed many nice deals on German ebay, and won some too. However, i have sometimes problems with shipment - some sellers don't ship outside Germany, some charge enormous amounts. The pieces with international shipping are usually more expensive, as more of us are competing.

The WS EKII arrived yesterday and I tried to get nice clear pics with the camera but they didn't come out very clear so tried using my scanner on a high resolution and they came out nice. Here are scans of the front and rear of the cross. Can anyone tell me who made the core? Also should I post these pics in the maker's marks(WS) thread as well as here? Here are the scans..... Harold
