Single non-combatant ribbon bar - opinions please

What do you guys make of this bar?

Sorry for the poor quality pics. I'll post better ones once I have the bar in hand.

Thanks for your feedback in the meantime.

    Best, Alex

It appears like a home made , but made long ago....and looks like apiece of original ribbon that has yellowed . Look forward to seeing it when you get it.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, the homemade nature of this piece concerns me a little. But the yellowed, aged look of the ribbon suggests that it might be an authentic wartime example. But let's see what others think...

      Best,

      Alex

Wuerttemberg! IMHO the ribbon has not "yellowed", but IS yellow (as it shoul for a Wuertemberg Military Merit Medal..)

Actually you may be right, Thorsten. But I can't be sure until I see it first hand.

I also think it is from Wurttemberg. Note that the back is more yellow than the front, as would be correct for a yellow ribbon that has seen some wear and has faded a bit from the front and not the back.

The non comb do turn a little yellowish over time but not that much.

                          Something like this

But I like your Württemberg bar, It may be a common award but it still took me some time to find my singel Württemberg bar.
