By the way I have seen too many examples that are not obviously period engraved or hard to judge, I also have a few of those but I will not show them here.
Above ones are that I believe the period examples, some are well known to collectors sold by auction houses like Andreas Thies and Hermann many years ago.
For many years I looked for engraved EKs with name, rank, date and unit numbers, but those are truly hard to find. The other pieces with congrats or memorable words are rather common, but sometimes with finest engraving, also nice to have.
