    medal bar w/soldbuch

    this bar looks good but i am a little suspicious since the EK and middle medal along with the WB have rust and other wear but the Hindy looks brand new. any thoughts on the group?

      The oldest this bar could be assembled is 1934 as I've been told that was when the Hindenburg medal was instituted. Odd there is rust on the front of the wound badge but not the rear. But it could be because the front of the badge suffered some wear from being worn.

          As far as I can read the Soldbuch he was always working with horses:

          1) 2. Eskadron Niederschlesische Train-Abteilung Nr. 155

          2) Pferdedepot der 83. Inf. Div., jetzt Pferdedepot 85 (?)

          3) dto. (same) 307

          4) Train Ersatz - Abteilung V - Posen.
