What do you think about this Ernst August cross?

Well, the last medal I tried to buy was sold by the time I got back from you guys, hopefully this time will go more smoothly.

I have no reason to doubt the originality of this one, but I am wondering about the finish. It almost seems like every one of these crosses had a different appearance, though it may just be the flash in this case. What bothers me is that it almost looks like a glossy finish.

I know some of the medals in the 20s-30s had this odd appearance, is this the case for this piece?

Thanks for digging it up again. Why do these not go for very much? People are usually all over Brunswick items.
