Can someone please help identify the uniform and helmet of this man. I can't quite make out the shoulder straps (something in the 100's). It's dated August 1918 and was taken by a photographer from Augsburg.

Found it! I thought it might be Bayern based upon the Lion bosses above the chinscale mounts. The book Polizei Uniformen der Suddeutschen Staaten 1872-1932 by Ingo Lohken shows this exact Uberrock and helmet as being Städtische Polizei after 1911.
