Duppel Storm cross . Opinions Please.

    Hello,
Please, your opinions. The original or copy ?
    32x32 mm approximately, weighed about 11.6 g
    Thanks in advance .

On the first look it seems to be okay, but if you use your glasses or even a microskope, you will recognize that it is a casted copy.
The letters, the date, the soldered ring, the whole surface looks casted. Perhaps someone can post a pic of a die-strucked original beside, you will see the difference on the first look.

    Best regards
    Markus

      Thanks.
I do not like a friable surface of metal.
      Please, still opinions.
I need to give to the seller of the proof, and to return it back .
      Best regards,

Deformation of the circular rim above the heads on both sides is odd enough, I think. Then the strange blot near word APR.
But it would be good to show (or at least check) the rim of the cross, whether there is cast seam or not.

Clearly a cast copy. Note the seam around the edge.

                      Hi Nordik

I hope these are of some help with your situation, my apologies for the dust and kitty hair, I was in a hurry before Santa arrived..I hope they are clear enough for your needs.

                      Now the reverse...

Now the entire bar for context..

The box is interesting as well..

Finally, two images of a man wearing a similar bar but without the centennial medal..

                      Merry Christmas All....
