Well the cross arrived today and is even nicer in hand than in the pictures. I know one shouldn't clean crosses but being a fake I figured what the heck have I got to lose and after a dip in coin dip it cleaned up very nicely with no paint loss. Afterwards I rinsed it in hot water then poured boiling water over it and thoroughly dried it. It will look real nice in my budding EK collection till a real one comes along that the wife will let me buy....LOL. The cross weighs in at 20.1gr and measures 44x44 mm.
