Looking for info on a WWI vet

Hi guys,

I recently acquired a Flak tunic to Oberst Wilhelm Fichter. He was a recipient of the EKI spange and therefore obviously a WWI vet.

01.03.41 promo to Oberst.
10.03.43 Oberst, appt Kdr. Kdr. Flakbrigade IV.
10.10.43 Oberst, appt Kdr. 23. Flak-Div. (to 20.08.44).
10.11.44 Oberst, appt Kdt. Flakschiessplatz Dramburg (to 26.04.45).

I am wondering if anybody here can help me find any additional information about him such as his WWI service details.

It's not much, but here is Fichter's entry in the 1926 Honour Ranklist. It shows that he retired from service, (I assume in 1918) with the rank of Oberleutnant a.D.

This also shows that he was a Leutnant in Inf. Reg. Bremen, Nr. 75.
