I know of a seller (In person) who says he has helmets found directly from the trenches and ready to sell. I have seen them and they are pretty rusty but would love to buy one (as i am a historian and these helmets would mean the world to me as I could not give a damn about their condition! The history is all that counts to me!) I am pretty scared of buying imperial German stuff however, as I am not used to the markings or how to spot fakes. I was wondering if anybody could give me some tips, prices and even if it is possible for him to have people dig them up and imported directly to him!
