EK under glass

Here's an EKII in a dome that just arrived at Chez Madman. The first I've seen in maroon, or maybe burgundy, velvet and with the original dome.

With the dome off. Note that the Cross doesn't fit the indentation too well. The stud for hanging is in the center of the ring indent. Maybe it was intended for the ribbon to be on the ring and draped over the top.

Wow! That is just soo sweet! You must be so proud.. I've never seen one except at DerExpensivemeister.com and they propably weren't periad pieces..

Very nice, Tom. No idea to the makers, sorry. According to the numbers on the photos in this and the other thread this were Iron Cross Nr. 118,119, 120 and 121. Could i see the other ones again, please? Just kidding...

Here's the one I got from Detlev a while back with a replacement dome. Notice the Cross fits the indent on this one. BTW, I got the new one on eBay with doc, Wehrpaß, and Soldbuch (now in Chris' colection)for about 1/3 of what Der Munzemeister is asking for just the dome and Cross
