Unknown "Blue Max" medal

A Korean War vet I know has this which was given to him by his uncle who served in WWII. Can't find any info about it. Looks similar to a Blue Max. Any help is appreciated.

His uncle probably got this at a local New England fleamarket in the '80s or something like that. It's got nothing to do with Germany.

Very crudely produced 60's -70's cast formed lead trinket for the surfer/biker crowd that somehow survived til now without being melted down.
