            Hi John

What about it would leave you pretty sure it was made in the 50's?

              Hmm

It reminds me of ones that were peddled by an outfit in the 60's and 70's called WWII Limited
Company in the Midwest. I believe they were selling for $20 or $25 during that same era.

I'm not even sure I'd pay the $45 that Reddick Militaria ask for a brand new one of these.

Sorry John, worthless junk that has some merit as a display item, but not much more.

Mhh, I would not have guessed it's that old. The quality just... isn't.

                      John,

Is this the piece that comes with a COA from Homer Helter, or something like that?
                      Best regards,

                        Hi John

You should be aware that the PLM you posted is a very common and prolifically available collector copy that has been offered by both Riddick Militaria and Nicholas Morigi since at least 1975. More here http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ht=Reddick+PLM

A quick search using the word 'Pour' on Nicholas Morigi's website http://www.nicholasmorigi.com/index.php?cat=Main

will clearly show them to be the same type as yours http://www.nicholasmorigi.com/show_pic.php?id=W3688S

and they are offered marked JGuS http://www.nicholasmorigi.com/show_p...=W3688S&inum=3

                        with a fitted case http://www.nicholasmorigi.com/show_pic.php?id=W3689

with decal that matches yours http://www.nicholasmorigi.com/show_p...d=W3689&inum=2

and a deluxe case option http://www.nicholasmorigi.com/show_pic.php?id=W3700 marked WILM

I don't want to rain on your parade, but Morigi's sell for £179.50

I would be extremely surprised if yours was in fact a 1950's purchase as claimed by the previous owner, but even if that was true, their collector value is currently... well... £179.50

I notice a marking on yours next to the clearly rogue 'W' that has been inscribed on the pie wedge. Is it a JGuS or 938?

                        Regards
