This was in with some WWI German items I bought from a local estate that were collected in Vienna and Berlian in the 1950s-60s. A mix of great material and some early fakes. This is about 49mm, die struck with great detail. Seems to be a small letter, maybe a "G" under the the jaw of the skull. Is this a Friekorps badge or a WWI German Storm troops badge or what? And of course it is real?

I think is a fake,sorry,but I really don't like the pin and the back...the front is very well done anyway....close to the original one.
