            Hello to you all.
Are in agreement with previous conclusion.
I will try to explain in detail my motives.
Firstly, the digit of the date of the core are oversized, in particular the digit "0" is too in contact with the frame of the cross, and is present the characteristic ninth bead in the crown headband.

For comparison i enclose photos of a piece seen by me end which i think original, so that you can evaluate the differences.

At the back the attack of the needle is too long compared with those seen in the original.
Also in the originals EK 1870 documented, inside the marking does not appears the letter "J"

Also enclose a photo by Max Aurich collection:

An the photos from the first original presented:

I hope that the trasletor has done a good job, my English in not very good.
P.S. This is my first Post, i hope to receive your opinions end feedback.
            Greetings end thanks Alex

                Hi Alex,

Welcome to the forum For a first post, yours is excellent, with illustrations and analysis. This is very refreshing.

Unfortunately, some of your conclusions are wrong. Most important, the 1870 EK1 you show as an original (four photos with a red background) is not an original, but simply a different fake from the one EK Hunter Alex has shown.

I think if you look at the photo from the Max Aurich collection -- both the front and the back of the cross -- you will see the differences between an original piece and the one you have shown.

Thank you all the same for your post and, again, welcome.
                Best regards,
                Streptile

Old thread, I know, but as a note, I've also observed the '0' being very close to the frame on Godet frames, usually due to the shift in the core.
