Need help with unit markings on a butcher blade bayonet

    Gentlemen,

While looking through my father's WWI German items, we noticed these unit markings on his bayonet scabbard. Can anyone help decipher what they are?

    Thanks!

    The last line I read:

    " S. Ar. II 322 " - " S " could mean "schwere" and " Ar. " Artillerie

    In the middle: " S. Ar. I. 4 37 "

    First line I read " S. M. V. 37 "

      unit mark

IMHO the S. Ar. stands for Schutzpolizei Arnsberg which is a Weimar/TR police marking.
