Prussian Feldjaegers badge?

Greetings all, I have been told this is a Prussian Feldjaegers badge, to me it looks like part of a helmet plate?

Any help appreciated.

It's most likely a veteran's badge. Although, Guard Stars in this style were worn by a couple of Freikorps units, as well.
