    "Blechkern" stamped core question

    anyone knows the maker of the stamped core/ "Blechkern", like these ones?

    Hi Michel,

    I don't think anyone knows for sure, but my theory is that Schauerte & Hohfeld, Assmann, and Friedrich Linden are prime candidates.

    The catalogue of Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid:



    Assmann und Sohne:



    ...and this type is very similar to others known marked L/54 for Schauerte & Hohfeld.

        Remember a thread in the TR-section about those 'closed 4' crosses. S&L and Post War was 2 of the opinions if i remember correctly. It was some time ago so opinions might have changed. Sure looks like the crosses from catalogues.

        Edit: there are a couple of closed 4's around. This might not be the one in that old thread i can't find.
