Picked this up at a flea market today, I absolutely love it, but I also don't know what it is!

I think the abbreviations are for something like, Königliches Sächsische Militär Verein Saxsonia (Royal Saxon Military Association "Saxonia"). This branch of the association was in Colditz. It is a standard Saxon type veteran's association badge.

This was a last minuet pickup on my way out. I decided to go down a row I had already checked and found the guy had set up after I first went though! You might imagine I was pleased to find him.
