Interesting Ek2 AWS?

Hi All,

my recent addition, an ek2.
It has a lot of similarities with AWS but also some differences. Is this the second core version?

The 1939 frame is frosted and shiny. The core is pebbled. It is also very light.

Wow, fascinating cross Michel.

I see a lot of similarities to AWS also, but nothing precisely the same. The frame and core are both different in small ways.

Overall, to me it's a mystery -- but a great find.

Hi Michel,

Now that I see the photo of the inner corners in your other thread, I am not so sure this isn't the AWS frame. I will have to do a close comparison when I have an AWS in my hands...

Sure is interesting. Reworked AWS/Juncker frame with '2 parts Steel sheet' core? Core is not any i've seen before. Made 30's-45. Where's the other thread?
