Probably is marked, :
D.R.G.M. 651496 where the D.R.G.M. signifies "Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster"= (German Reich Registered Design) and n° of registration.

This number, when punched, is ever the same for the mini spange as your or mine (w/out EK).

Your spange, made on '20es, showed a EKII 1813.... not often to see for sure.

Very interesting indeed. Had to look up distrained:

dis•trained
past participle, past tense of dis·train (Verb)
Verb: Seize (someone's property) to obtain payment of rent or other money owed.

Nice collection! Is the Stamp inside a plastic cover and just put in the case lid?

The Spange with attached EK is both typical WWI to WW2 period so wonder why they put the back of a 1914 EKII on it. It's not a 1813 EKII imo, no recipient would be alive by then. Probably just an honest misstake.

You see these mini EKs on war ribbon quite a lot in Saxon groupings. The war ribbon could be used for several different awards so putting an EK device on it just makes it clear to the non-Prussians just what award it is for.
