I feel bad to say that I am old enough to recall when these came out originally, circa 1965 +or - . The crazy thing is the darn thing may actually be worth around his price if it is an "original" from that mid 60s period, but it may well be a fake of the real surfers period cross! The fakes are being faked.

I'm saying that items which are iconic from movements like the counter-culture and the early surfer culture...and many others of period have a collector following now of their own.
