Nice cross. I'm assumeing that brass crosses were ment for KM personel to prevent the center core from rusting from the salt water?

I like these crosses. When the silver plate wears off the high points
it gives a nice "third color' to the cross.

The KM connection to these crosses is a complete myth. Several
companies used other metals to produce crosses. This became
more evident with late war produced crosses and is seen a lot with
this style Deumer which is believed to be from the 20's.

I too like the coloring of these Brassies. All the variants provide for a
very eye appealing scheme. Congrats on your new addition and nice
photos too.

Yes they are nice variants. Also they will remain nice even if they were in the ground!
