    Vaulted EK1

I have an Imperial EK1 that is vaulted. It is marked on the back'.800' but has no actual maker. How's it look?
    OK?
    Thanx,
    Tim

A nice example of a private purchase cross.

Good "CD" (Carl Dilenius) or "[]" (AKA "Quadrat"). I suspect someone (Mike?) will be able to tell you which maker is more likely.

It's my private opinion these two "makers" are the same... or did I miss something?

"CD" to be found on the flat, awarded crosses, and the square mark for all the private purchase stuff which includes vaulted crosses, aviator badges and so. I know the crosses usually use different hardware, but the style is so similar and "mixed" crosses seem to be existant.

Personally I agree with you but unless I missed something, this has not been established conclusively.

Ah, okay! So it's likely, but not safe... thanks!
