I can't call myself expert at all so just consider this as ONLY opinion, not any fact or suggestion...
If it's a copy, it's nicely done in my opinion. Front side looks quite good compared to sample picture below. Just the eagle head is clearly different compared to attached Zimbler picture and some other minor difference - it could be just a normal variant from same manufacturer.
Unfortunately I don't have picture of backside of original badge - it would probably help a lot. Personally, I don't like the reverse side of the badge you showed - it looks a little bit "too fresh".
Somehow, I feel quite unsure about this - hopefully someone more wise can advice you, but without any real expert opinion, I would probably skip/wait with that one (and like said, this is my personal opinion, not suggestion...)
Here's a picture of front side older "Zimbler" and your previous picture below it so it's easier to compare. Lower picture is most likely original, approved by a real expert, sold in reputable auction some time ago - sold around 650 USD incl. buyer's premium.

Hello,
from what I can see in the pictures, this piece is a very fine, original k.u.k. Luftfahrerabzeichen.
I need to congratulate with the happy owner of this badge.
Best wishes,
E.L.
P.S.: a good reference book on this specific badge is: Jörg C. Steiner: "Das Luftfahrerabzeichen" (Militärhistorische Themenreihe - Band 8), Vienna, 1993. Not easy to find now, but it's worth some effort to look for it.
