    Help with military pass book, done quite a bit??

    Just picked up this passbook to vetran of ww1, from what i can make out he saw a lot of action but thats were my knowledge of this book goes, can anyone help me with some translation please> Pete.

                Thank you Gerdan for the info, can you make out what battles he might have fought thru? Wounded in 1918 might have saved his life before the end of the war, would you have any idea what sort of work was undertaken by pioniers?

                  "Pioniere" are engeneers (building bridges, blasting bunkers, building roads).

                  As your guy was a miner he should be skilled with explosives.
