Call to order--The "Holy Grail" club 2012

It's that time again. Time to call to order the biannual meeting
of the "Holy Grail" club. Let's see who's still in, who's out and
who has what it takes to join.

    Let the festivities begin.

        Here is mine:

And there is even a story attached to it. It was stolen out of a DHL package. A couple of month later offered on ebay: "private purchase out of aristocratic estate". Confiscated by the police. The police tracked the way of the Iron Cross back all the way to the thief who worked at the DHL package center. The Iron Cross was held as evidence by the justice officials. And about 1 and a half years later it ended up in my post box at home in a regular mail envelope - not insured, not even registered - just a plain 55 Cent stamp on it.

You are correct. My apologies to Tony.
I knew this was a PRINZEN cross. I don't know how I forgot to
                add that in the description.

Ever since I saw this display at the Völkerschlachtdenkmal museum in 2007 I have wanted one! In fact, I might return next year for the 200th anniversary of the battle.

                        Willi,
                        Welcome to the club.

It's good to see a new cross posted. We seem to be off to a slow
start. Either people have had to sell off their crosses or maybe
there is just a general lack of interest.

                          Welcome to the club Willi!

Looks like some nice pieces on display there in Völkerschlachtdenkmal museum, ...that is a very small prinzen.... and first class above, can you take some close-up pics next time you there.

Greg what about Tony's full size second class?

Here it is. I was hoping to find an updated picture of this cross.
This one is several years old.

Great idea to get the club back together Greg.

Here's my 1820s/1830s "inheritance series" cross with serif-date award type core.

Three piece, silver, blackened cast iron, 35mm ribbon.
