Question about prussian red cross medals

I know they were made of steel, bronze and zink but during what years were each made? I have read it somewhere but i cant remember where that was.

I think the steel was the first 1898 -19??
And then the bronze early war/pre war 1914?-1916?
And at last the zink was made 1916?-1918/21?

But i read somewhere that the third class was only made till 1918 whilst the second class was made untill 1921, is this true?

Please fill in the gaps or correct me if i am way of.

than till end of 1916 iron
since 1917 - end: ansonit

Yes, I got it today and it is definitely buntmetall.
