Tough call. My first impression was a genuine unmarked "Schott" but looking at some of the obverse details more closely (eg the crown region) there does appear to be some weakness. Hard to tell if some or all of that apparent pitting is age/condition related or due to cast reproduction flaws - keeping in mind that imo originals are cast anyway.

I've got the same badge, purchased it from Wolfe and Hardin, nothing wrong with it IMO! Same maker sold on German-Historica.de some time ago.
