Early regimental pipes

Just picked these up from an estate the one with a pickelhaube cap on it. has what looks like the entire list of the regiment on it. the pipes are carved horn all 1800's

I have one with crown wilhelm on the front , but yours are very old, and very nice. Maybe everyone with similar pipes should add theirs to your thread. Can't recall any just pipes threads. These are very fancy grade as most wartime versions are less fancy.

Very nice, the first two that you show are the earliest dated ones I have seen thus far.

I really like the one with the two soldiers shaking or holding hands, 1853 date, both are wearing 1842 model Pickelhaubes, the rifle the soldier is holding would have been a needle gun. COOL
