Opinions on ww1 uboat badge please???

Hi to all!
Came across this recently. I know what i think but opinions from more knowledgable persons would be very welcome. Has Walter Schot on the badge but on the screw back it has letters and numbers including '41' which i think was a different maker. Two fakes mixed up????? Thanks in advance!!

Hi Mark,

I'll preface my comments by stating I'm no expert on Imperial badges and you might want to post in the Imperial section. Having said that you can see a clear casting line along the centre of the interior cutouts, and there's no way there should be an RZM number on a war badge. A reproduction I'm afraid.

Fake. The RZM markings alone condemn this badge as does the poor quality.

This screw is well known and present on many fake badges of various types.

Wow, I didn't know the SS ran the Uboot waffe. Non the less the RZM is a dead giveaway.

Bubba, I stand corrected!!! Those black Hugo Boss uniforms would look great while on the conning tower, all while wearing that neat SS/Reichsbahn/uboat/ clasp.
