    Bad EKII ?

    Hi, Just found this one in my box and i think it's a fake! Please have a look and let me know what you think about it. Mick

    Does indeed look odd, but if it's three piece with magnetic core, I'd rather assume it's polished to dead.

    The ring, however, might be replaced.

      Hi, Thanks is this one a TR issue........? As i don't think the frame is made from silver. Mick
      I.E. a (Nickel silver) frame.

        the cross is perfectly good

        indeed , a non silver frame by the look of it .

        only a rough casted core

        it is period , so far in general its possible to be sure .

        I would say ,

            I cannot see if this is silver or Neusilber and wonder how others can, now that it'as cleaned. But if it's a WW1 era cross - what I assume, I tend to think the frame is silver. I still believe they are all...

                I do collect non silver 1914 crosses
                and I know off some others who do to
                threads here presenting them
                period catalogs with non silver crosses listed
