Nice little group, Eric. The ribbon on the MVK is definately wrong. Its the ribbon for the Hindenburg-Cross.

Grampa was released to the Ersatz-Reserve becuase of a "phys. defect"-- yet he was a miner!!!!!!

I've never seen that late war fitted cardboard BOX for the MVK before, only the light blue leatherette fitted CASE. It must go with the 1917 award document!
