    AWS EK1 - superb!

This beautiful AWS EK1 sold within minutes of being listed on eBay yesterday. It went for 400 EUR. A premium price but probably well-worth it. What do you guys think?

    Best, Alex

Beautiful piece with AWS's common "small" 925 stamp (same used on the rings of EK2s).

I think it sold quickly because €400 is a good price for a sterling silver pillowback. The silver examples are on the top of most people's lists.

By the way, the catch is repaired (and replaced), which is common for this specific type.
    Best regards,

Looking for ROUND BUTTON 1939 EK1 Spange cases (LDO or PKZ)

Pillowbacks are always wanted, especially nice marked ones like these. Let me know if you got one for that money

        Best regards,
        Michel

P.S> looks like a classy repair too.

yes? so have a look at ebay. nice set for 500 euro
              price offers possible.

try it with 401 euro... may be you will get the set.
              (300 + 100 for the case)

              good condition without repaired catch

and be sure - i`ll find some others - pillowbacks or without...

In my opinion the catch on that piece is also replaced. Also, no silver mark (that I can see -- may be there in the shadows).

I think this cross is a wonderful addition to anyone's collection

in a wonderful condition I must say
                      and
the repaired catch dos not bring the value down
                      only adds to it .

there is no reason to bring someone else's purchase down about it

the price off these crosses is fore what I have seen,(throe the years) often around 400 euro

( sometimes in a lot worse condition )

as fore those who live in Germany it may be easier to get them cheaper

but as far as I know those day's are over to

                      regards kay

yes kay? in holland or somewhere else may be. thats correct.

i had 4 pieces and got them for much less than 400 euro in the last 5 years. and no piece was repaired. non magnetic two times, one magnetic and one magnetic + 925. (all sold)

a friend of me had the KMST version with schiebeverschluß. he bought it for 1500 euro. - in the meantime some pieces were sold between 500 - 800 euro. bad luck, or not?

how much did you get for your piece? i am nearly sure no 1500 euro.

Discussion should focus on the item and not the price......

Good grief some of the comments... It's a beautiful classy cros. Obverse has a certain look. Sterling silver pillowback, just awesome. Repaired catch or not who the f*** cares? The catch is a great looking clasp. Appears silver to me.
