Bavarian Observer badge

Hello. I have the opportunity to maybe buy this award... but i dont know alot about them. First off, is it real? If so.. what is it worth? Are they uncommon? What about the NFSK balloon award? Looks like a fake so im prolly gonna skip it...

Hi,the observer badge is not Bavarian but Deutsches Reich or Prussian as most people know them. I am not convinced that it is an original badge. It has an original looking back plate and hardware to the reverse but it has all the traits of a bogus badge to me. I would leave it alone. Ferg

How much is an original worth? It must have been an old repro since he bought it in the 70s... Anyway, I'll skip it! Thanks for your help... would had been fooled otherwise
