Has anyone ever seen the the ribbon bands issued for service on the home front that Nimmergut mentions (2678-2682)? Is it correct to assume that mounted medals without the swords ribbon band are for non-military service?

Thanks pipon for the great detailed photos. Does your medal have a maker mark on it? Or a silver mark?

Hi !

No maker mark, and no silver mark. But I'm sure that the medal is a silver made : I have to repair the ring some years ago (because one arm was broken), and the juweller tested the medal (hight silver content, without more precisions...)
