Ww1 ek1 case

Need some helpon this ww1 ek1 case,iam quite happy with the case,its the catch i would like opinions on,was this type of catch used in the 1920s 30s or 40s,any info will help.

Hard to say -- in my opinion this type of catch was used fairly widely until the end of the first war, then less and less, but still used through the next war on less expensive (low-end) cases.

More shots of the entire case might help date it.
