That Sutterlinschrift is hard to read, ask Gerdan, he can do it!!!
However, from what I can make out, he was a 4 year volunteer in the navy that spent more time on the Cruiser Friedrich Carl than the Nymphe. Why the souvenier from the Nymphe??? Started out as being single and was married with one child. Born in Magdeburg in 1877. He may have been assigned to the new SMS Friedrich Carl as it was going through building and off to the other ships, for some actual sea duty. Sorry, that what I can make out without putting too much time into it. Nothing spectacular as he was released before the war began and beside, the Carl was sunk in 1914 when it hit two Russian mines.Comment
