I have been working on assembling some minor Wurttemberg Medals for a disply. I have accumulated a few so far! I am still looking for some replcement ribbons, Long service medals, andsome Wilhelms crosses. Thanks for looking.

That's a nice looking collection you've put together.

I agree, you could say that Württemberg pretty much has it all, including one of my favorite Imperial German medals - the Bronze Carl-Olga medal, as awarded from 1889 to 1918. A unique design, beautifully executed. There is also a higher, silver, grade; but in my opinion, esthetically, the bronze version is the winner.

i am a württemberger and of course i like the awards.

some of you could be also württemberger - if they`re having a porsche or a mercedes in front of your house.

here some of mine.

1st one: mmm is a silver gilded one (spangenstück) the owner was a member
of the württemberg firebrigade.

2nd one the owner was a württemberg military official, who was later reactivated.
the wilhelmscross with X was an award which was also awarded for merit in the "homeland". the bar is a new one, from a friend (thanx to chris)

Wild Card- That is indeed a beautiful medal! I would love to see one in Silver.
romischIX- I really like that second ribbon bar! A non-combatant EKII with a Wilhems Cross with swords! Neat combination. The TR Long service medal makes it pretty unique!!
Anthony- I love your award but don't think I can afford one yet!

Does anybody have a 1911 Silver Hochzeit medal? I saw this medal and really liked the design.
