Luger Cleaning Rod

Way out of my league here, but could someone tell me if this is actually an Imperial era cleaning rod for the P08? It appears the tip has been broken off or shortened. It was in my junk box at home, so not really sure where I aquired it, but I've had it for almost 25 years. Thanks for looking

Looks like an artillery Luger rod to me,may have been shortened but still nice One of the Luger Gurus will be able to confirm correct length.

It's been broken off at the tip.
