    Don't believe such seller's bulls**t about "family property". I bet he's not 70 years old so how can he prove that? If we sum up the discussion, the badge is polish, not german, made shortly after WW1 and scarcer than german silesian eagle, but messed with. If this one is not really cheap, I'd look for a decent real badge.

        60 euros is a quite good price for that [even if it came with modern add "fur schlesien"]... as for POLISH badge. But better save your money for GERMAN Schesischer Adler
