VERY strange super heavy artillery gun Italian?

Anyone know what the heck this artillery piece is called?

The caption is in German and translates as "captured enemy artillery in village of Zampicchia, eastern Codroipo, Flak Abt. (A) 219, 4.11.1917"

One of the most bizare big guns I've seen.

wonder if these were naval guns? at 30,5cm, they appear to match the 12" guns used by the Italian navy c.1909-11???
